This special fitting is designed to compensate for the difference in coefficients of expansion which exists between metal pipe and CPVC in hot water applications. Solvent welds directly to CPVC tube and adapts to I.D. tubing. Permits easy disassembly of piping system. Remove CPVC components and gasket before making sweat connection. Manufactured to include no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces. Bulk, 20 per box.
